NB. The Connect2 system is closed for returns and new bookings. Please continue to renew items you are holding until you reach the max number of renewals available through the system. Eventually, the Connect2 system will send out automatic overdue notices to you, but you can safely ignore these until the service resumes. We will contact all borrowers with overdue items if the service resumes this year.

Welcome to Connect2, your online audio visual booking system for HAS. The service is based at Frenchay but is available to all staff and students working in HAS.

  • Please be aware that bookings and renewals will not be taken over the phone or via voicemail.
  • Collection and return of equipment is by arrangement only during opening hours.
  • Bookings will only remain on the system for three hours after the due collection time, so please make sure you are booking correctly and collect promptly.
  • Please return equipment by the due date as, with limited stock, overdues can affect other bookings.
  • To Edit your booking within the active loan period go to 'My Account' highlight the booking and click on 'Edit Booking'. You can change the duration of the loan up to the maximum loan period allowed for the item indicated in the listing.
  • To Renew your equipment go to 'My Account', Click on the relevant booking reference number and then click 'Renew Booking'. Select the item/s to be renewed and click on the renew button.
  • Renewals can only be made within the last 5 days of the loan period.
  • Renewals are for 14 days at a time. You can renew up to 4 times giving a maximum of 8 weeks over and above the initial booking.
  • Once a loan has expired you can not edit or renew the item and it must be returned to the HASAV store.
  • Edits and Renewals can only be extended if the equipment is available and has not already been booked by another user.
